Switch Vehicles creates hands-on electric vehicle education programs that inspire students, empower teachers, and prepare the next generation of technical problem-solvers. Our mission is to help schools bring real-world EV learning into the classroom through safe, engaging, project-based experiences.
Our flagship pathway, The Switch Lab™ EV, gives students the unforgettable opportunity to build, test, and drive a full-size electric vehicle while developing technical, teamwork, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Our broader EV education pathway includes curriculum, instructor workshops, lab kits, safety equipment, and training platforms designed for STEM, CTE, automotive, engineering, and workforce development programs.
Since 2013, Switch Vehicles has supported 400+ schools with reusable, classroom-ready EV learning solutions manufactured and supported from our shop in Sebastopol, California.
Peter Oliver
Co-Founder & CEO
Peter combined his passions for auto, education and the environment to create a new concept in Electric Vehicles and Education. Peter leads company product and vision, and is active in industry organizations and educational events.
Donovan G.
Product Manager
Donovan has been with Switch Vehicles since its inception, working with Peter to deliver on the initial design concept, and managing the on-going production. He oversees product development, customer support and the research & development team.
Brandon Watt
Marketing & Community Director
Brandon joined Switch Vehicles in early 2023, bringing his knowledge of event coordinating, branding & community building into EV education. He oversees marketing, events, partnerships, and community programs.
Shaun Morin
Production Manager
Shaun started at Switch in August 2022, having years of experience in welding & fabrication, manufacturing & auto repair/custom builds. He manages materials, manufacturing processes, and the production team.
